My Favorite Must-Have Sephora Products

My favorite Sephora must-haves

Buy From Sephora

I was sharing some new beauty favorites on IG stories and it reminded me that there’s a Sephora sale going on right now and I should probably update this updated list of favorites for anyone interested in shopping the sale! (Feel free to come back to this list by searching for “Sephora” using the search bar at the top of my blog whenever you need recommendations!)

I’m a huge Sephora lover, and there are TONS of must-have products that I’ve tried and love. But I know shopping for beauty products can get overwhelming pretty quickly. So, to make things easier, I’ve summarized my TIP TOP favorites below. (Also, keep in mind that some of the skincare products I use aren’t available at Sephora—you can see what non-Sephora products I use in my skincare routine here!)

Discounts available based on Sephora shopper status:

  • If you have Rouge status, you can shop now through 11/15 and get 20% off!

My favorite Sephora must-haves:

Happy shopping!

T3 Whirl Trio of Curling Wands:

The curling iron I have used for over 5 years. I usually use the 1″ barrel, but I love that it comes with all three for different types of waves! I swear my curls last longer with this wand. Tip: It’s VERY HOT. I use it on level 3 – unnecessarily high heat can damage your hair!

Oribe dry texture spray:

Ridiculously expensive, yes, but for me, it’s 100% worth the price. The best texturizing finishing spray and it smells SO amazing. I spray it from roots to ends as it lightly absorbs oil and gives your waves a beautiful tousled natural finish.

First Aid Beauty Pure Facial Cleanser

If you’re looking for an all-in-one cleanser for dry, normal, or combination skin, I LOVE this one. It’s a newer obsession, and while I usually like to do a double cleanse (using this after removing my makeup with BC’s oil cleanser), this totally works and removes makeup all in one if I’m too tired. It’s super smooth, doesn’t flake, and I swear it helped control breakouts too!

Saie Beauty sun melt cream bronzer + bronzing brush:

I love this cream bronzer formula! It blends beautifully and gives you a natural sun-like glow. I also love that the cream formula never breaks or spills on your big one (that always happens with powder formulas!) Plus, the brush is TO DIE FOR. That’s great. Buy it before it runs out again!

Isle of Paradise Sunless Tanning Drops:

Curiosity finally got the best of me and I bought these tanning drops. I’ve only used them on my face, but I really like them! I like that it gives you a very subtle, natural, buildable glow, and all you have to do is mix it with your moisturizer! They still have a faint sunless tan smell, but what product doesn’t? I also had no problem with him taking me out!

Bath gel needed:

I bought this body wash and moisturizer after seeing every influencer I know promoting it. (Curiosity always gets the best of me! 😂) I will say, I really don’t get how anyone could be obsessed with moisturizer (granted, I know a lot of you are, skincare is so personal!) but I LOVE the body wash. It’s really smooth, non-drying, and smells so good that it makes my mediocre shower feel like a fancy spa experience. Such a wonderful stimulant. In my opinion it must be the eucalyptus scent, which is amazing, the others are meh to me.

Kopari Natural Deodorant:

One of my long time favourites. It works well and doesn’t irritate my armpits like many other products! (Note: It’s not an antiperspirant, so you’ll still sweat, but it’s a very effective deodorant in my opinion!) My other favorite scent is Megababe in the Beach (it smells SO good, but it’s not sold at Sephora).

Pharmacy Deep Sweep:

I tend to use this after I wash my face if I have breakouts! The frequency depending on my skin at the time. I’ve found this to be great for helping control breakouts (especially if you tend to have trouble with maskne), but I usually don’t use it more than a couple of times a week so I don’t dry out my skin. (Though those with combination/oily skin would have no problem using this every night!) I love that it has 2% BHA and that it gently exfoliates without stripping skin (alcohol free!).

Sunday Riley ice cream

I admit, the brand sent me this last year in a press mail and I didn’t do anything with it until last winter. For some reason I decided to finally open it up and try it out and fell in love with it and have been buying it ever since. I recommend for those with dry skin. It’s a ceramide cream, which really helps lock in moisture and soothe any irritation you may have. (I’ve had friends say this is great for eczema too!) It’s SO YUMMY but doesn’t leave skin greasy! Makes your skin soft like a baby’s!

Tip: Don’t miss your lips when applying this! Helps dry lips immensely!

Ilia Tinted Lip Oil:

Speaking of dry lips, I LOVE this tinted lip oil (and Ilia is a great brand!) I think the name is a bit misleading, isn’t it. feel Like an oil, it feels like a thick, pigmented liquid lipstick/gloss, but it’s infused with oil and other moisturizing ingredients, so it gives you great, natural-looking color without drying. The bottle I have has lasted me two years! (If you’re looking for a lighter formula, a new favorite is Merit’s Lip Oil!)

Caudalie Clarifying Mask

Another heavy hitter that I have been using for years and years. I love this clarifying mask and it’s great for when you need a little more exfoliation or shine. Makes your complexion feel fresh and new!

Caudalie Vinoperfect Illuminating Essence

If you’re looking to even out your skin tone and lighten blemishes, I love this toner from Caudalie! Use a cotton ball to sweep morning and night! Caudalie is one of my favorite brands – they are clean, high quality, and I have never used a product from them that I didn’t like!

Pharmacy Green Defense Sunscreen:

One of my favorite sunscreens of all time! I LOVE Farmacy – They are a clean brand that has their own organic farm in New York where they grow all the ingredients they use in their products! Very cool! They make my favorite all-purpose mineral-based face sunscreen (for all skin types). It comes out white but mixes very easily! I also have no problem wearing it under makeup!

Supergoop glitter display:

If you are looking for a *cleaner/safer* chemical sunscreen (and you don’t want a mineral sunscreen), Glow Screen is AWESOME. (No oxybenzone!) It’s lightly tinted, looks amazing alone or under makeup for a dewy glow. Because it’s more like a make-up product that makes you feel pretty, it’s good for those who can never remember to put on sunscreen!

life proof dry shampoo

I have several favorite dry shampoos, but this is my pick for “all-purpose, one and go” dry shampoo. It makes your hair feel clean and freshly washed, smells GREAT and adds amazing volume and texture! No other I have found does it all like this!

Dior Iconic Overcurl Mascara

I have tried MANY mascaras over the years and none beat this one. It has to be the one with the silver tube though, I don’t like the black tube that much! It’s super buildable, so you can wear a layer for the day or extra layers for a night out! It makes your lashes huge, but not in a fake and dramatic way, they still look natural! No, it’s not “clean”, but no clean mascara compares to this, not even close! (And I agree with that. Pretty much everything else I use is, then, YOLO.)

Peter Thomas Roth FirmRX Peel

This is a blessing when your skin is dry and flaky and you can’t put foundation on without it flaking off. (So embarrassing). It’s really amazing and I don’t know what I would do without it. I buy it in two bottles at a time so I never run out. It’s a gentle scrub that exfoliates but also leaves skin looking firm and refreshed. It’s not a *clean* brand, but again, it passes the 80/20 rule in my book, and since it washes off quickly, I’m not too worried about it!

Kopari lip gloss:

Another big favorite in the lip balm/gloss category – it’s the best of both worlds! It looks like a gloss, but moisturizes like a balm and has a hint of coconut! I love both tinted and light ones, and there’s always one close at hand!
